This cardboard-lined space resembles the inside of a removal box, its contents distributed throughout the installation. Found objects, leftover materials and elements of discarded artworks from the last fifteen years are revisited here, making fresh use of their economy of form and materiality. The installation is not a cabinet of curiosities but a storage space, in which the assorted objects and their configurations create a new consensus.

 

Labels offer visitors detailed information about the individual objects, but these cannot be seen when viewing the piece as a whole; they can only be read one by one with the help of the UV torches provided. The chronological information provided about the objects is deictic, so that its meaning shifts depending on when the visitor views the installation.
