Different tattooed fruits and vegetables – including pumpkins, bananas, potatoes, oranges, peppers, dates, mushrooms, and much more – were draped on a table for the still life. The tattoo templates were selected according to the colour and shape of the individual fruits. The organic material's process of decay was decisively influenced by the intervention with the tattoo needle. Pumpkins and apples were able to deal with the damage to the skin layer very well, but the process was significantly accelerated on bananas and zucchini.
