The Roundups series represents the perfect lawn. The title was taken from a popular broad- spectrum glyphosate-based herbicide commonly used for private gardens. Roundup kills around 250 types of weed and should only be appropriated to northern grasses; otherwise, or due to misapplication (which happens quite often) the whole lawn dies. The appearance of the sewed lawn pieces is extremely reduced, similar to the representation in comics. It is the complete opposite of the famous "Great Piece of Turf" by Albrecht Dürer, which shows a study of an apparently unordered group of wild plants.
