Installation with 50 folded posters (edition of 500 copies, Offset print, DIN A0 format) and an explanatory text (DIN A4), Austrian Cultural Forum, London, 2016

„turning pages“ was created for the exhibition Out of the Box, curated by section.a, to mark the 60th anniversary of the Austrian Cultural Forum in London. The work comprises an illustrated representation of the history of the events held by the Forum. The 50 individual drawings were created based on research undertaken in the documentation archive of the ACF and refer in various ways to selected events and thematic areas. At the same time, they address not only the Forum’s extensive events program, but also its unique features in terms of content – and it was possible to identify certain shifts in priorities within that program over the decades. The individual drawings were digitally compiled onto a single printed sheet in A0 format. For the installation, 50 of these posters were folded in such a way that a different one of the individual drawings was displayed on top of each poster. An accompanying text was also published alongside the limited-edition posters, which listed the selected events on which the installation was based.
